Since its original release in August 2024, a lot has happened in the geospatial field, so it was timely to give this piece a major update. This includes a few bug fixes, a few new examples, and a major update on many packages, such as GeoPandas and OSMnx.
As I mentioned earlier, the update is free for anyone who has already purchased the book. You will find the 2nd release here, next to the original package, where you can use the same access code as before.

Really stellar work keepin this resource updated with the latest pakage changes. I've actually ran into versioning headaches with GeoPandas before, so the timing on those updates is pretty clutch. Dunno if the first edition covered it, but curious if the new examples include spatial joins with complex geometries since thats where I see most production pipelines struggle.
